About Flow Templates
Flow Templates is a free, static library of automation workflows, organized by the business task you're trying to automate. Every template published so far is an n8n workflow file; the guides cover n8n, Zapier and Make.
What this site is
A place to find workflows you can actually import: n8n workflow files, plus plain-English guides on picking a platform, self-hosting and importing correctly. The library is deliberately small — we would rather publish five verified workflows than hundreds of untested ones, and we say plainly on a page when it has none.
How it works
Every template we publish goes through the same pipeline: it is built on a real instance, run, exported, stripped down to placeholder credentials (for example {{YOUR_SLACK_CREDENTIAL}}), then re-imported and verified. A template page only offers a download once that verification has passed; until then it is clearly marked as in progress and carries no download button. See how to import n8n templates for what happens on your side.
Why it's free
This is a static site with no accounts and no per-use compute, so our costs stay close to plain web hosting — there is nothing to meter and no reason for an email wall. Some pages link to related free tools we operate; those links carry a simple source tag so we can count traffic between our own sites, and they contain no personal data.
Who's behind it
Flow Templates is built and maintained by a small independent team that makes free, no-signup browser tools and runs these automations on its own instances. n8n, Zapier and Make are trademarks of their respective owners; we are not affiliated with any of them.
